Matariki quiz

Today for literacy medals we had to do a Matariki quiz and three things you learned from it

1 what time of year the stars come out

2 how Matariki is celebrated I didn't know that some times people celebrate by eating

3 and the last thing I learned was where the stars appear in the sky

The easiest part for me was doing the quiz because there were only 10 questions and they weren't that hard And the most difficult part for me was knowing what the questions answers were for some of them because I don't really know much about Matariki but now I know a little bit more. And maybe next time I could do the quiz again so then I can get them all right because I now know the answers  By Harrison

Matariki

Today for literacy medals I did a Matariki reflection on the last year. The easiest part for me was putting the pictures in the slide because all you had to do was press insert image and press upload from computer and choose which image you want. And the hardest part for me was going through my mum's phone and getting photos.

And It was really fun looking at what I did last year there is a lot of pictures of me at motocross in nelson and stuff. There are also some pictures of me playing rugby and league and some pictures with my friends

T shaped reading

Today for T shaped reading it has changed to Matariki because it is nearly Matariki time and also because it is term 2. above is the piece of work that I did for online school. all we had to do was watch a video of a lady reading the stolen stars of Matariki and then write down how the story could have ended and we had to rewrite the end of the story in our own words. The easiest part for me was finding a picture because all you have to do is search up Matariki stars and it will come up. And the most difficult part for me was figuring out what the Maori words mean. B Harrison 

Wiki o Matariki

We have been learning about  Matariki. I've had loads of fun doing it. My favorite learning so far is the stars that we made yesterday with a ruler and a pencil and a piece of paper. We had to draw a line in the middle of the page and draw 15-20 dots all over the page and then you have to pick up your ruler and use it to draw a triangle and keep doing it.
