Book report

Today for Literacy medals I did a book report on The stolen stars of Matariki because its Friday so next week we are moving on and doing something different because it will be a new week so we will be doing something different. The easiest part for me was getting the pictures because all you have to do is get a picture from google. And the hardest part for me was writing the events that happened in the story. By Harrison

literacy medals

Today for Literacy I did Matariki for Matariki we had to retell the story of the stolen stars of Matariki. The easiest part for me was writing the story. And the hardest part for me was reading it because the Maori words were confusing cause I don't really know them. By Harrison

The video is trying to load but it is too big for blogger.

Floating cube

Today for maths I did a floating cube above is a video of the floating cube when you tilt the paper. The easiest part for me was shading the cube because all you have to do is go lightly over the paper with a pencil. And the hardest part for me was drawing the cube because you have to draw it on an angle. And next time I would cut it out straighter so it looks better. By Harrison

cross country track

Today for maths I designed my home cross country track it is just our motocross track in the paddock for the cross country you run 2.5km so you had to measure a track around your house. The easiest part for me was drawing the track because it is pretty simple. And the hardest part for me was measuring the track because it is pretty long. And if you were going to run it you would have to roughly run 3.5 laps. By Harrison

Maths medals

Today for maths medals we have been doing mental strategies. The easiest part for me was thinking of the answer because they were really simple. and the most difficult part for me was writing the answer down because I had to write how I did it in my head. And next time I would use different ways to figure out the answer. By Harrison

T shaped reading

Today for T shaped reading it has changed to Matariki because it is nearly Matariki time and also because it is term 2. above is the piece of work that I did for online school. all we had to do was watch a video of a lady reading the stolen stars of Matariki and then write down how the story could have ended and we had to rewrite the end of the story in our own words. The easiest part for me was finding a picture because all you have to do is search up Matariki stars and it will come up. And the most difficult part for me was figuring out what the Maori words mean. B Harrison

T-shaped reading

Today I did my T-shaped reading and this is the poster that I did about ANZAC above is a picture of the poster that I did. The easiest part for me was drawing the picture and cutting it out and putting it over the poppies. And the most challenging part for me was drawing the poppies because the peddles on the poppies were really weird to draw. And next time I would write why we are going to stand at our gates at dawn and why we are in lockdown. By Harrison
