Te Tiriti O waitangi / Treaty of waitangi

 Today in Taiao we did our Te Tiriti O Waitangi for the (treaty of Waitangi) we had to write what happened before the treaty of Waitangi and what happened after the treaty of Waitangi and what the treaty actually says and Differences in the two treaties. The easiest part for me was writing the differences between the two treaties. And the hardest part for me was writing what the treaty actually says because there was a lot to write. Next time I would try and write more about what happened in the treaty of Waitangi. By Harrison

Word of the week

 Today in Whenua we have been doing our word of the week. This week for the word of the week our word was Humble humble means to cause someone to feel less important or proud. The easiest part for me was finding a picture because all you have to do is search up humble and then click images and then the pictures will be there. And the hardest part for me was finding the antonyms because there weren't many. And next time I will try and find more antonyms. By Harrison

Self portrait

Today in Whenua we have been doing our self-portraits above is my self-portrait. All we had to do is use polyline to go around our eyes and face and all of that. And then you crop the image so you have half of the photo that you took and the half that you drew and then you use the colors to make it look like the over half of you. The easiest part for me was taking the photo because all you have to do is take a picture. And the hardest part for me was making my teeth because they were really small to draw. By Harrison

Today In Whenua we did our word of the week this week for the word of the week our word was Horizon. Horizon means the line that the earth's surface and the sky appear to meet. The easiest part for me was writing the antonyms because there was none. And the hardest part for me was to think about what I think the word means. By Harrison

Number of the week

Today in Whenua we have been doing our number of the week this week for number of the week our number was 632. The easiest part for me was writing if the number was even or odd. And the hardest part for me was multiplying it by ten but then I realized it was easy. Next time I will try to be able to quickly know how to do everything. By Harrison

Today in Whenua we did our word of the week for the word of the week we had to do research on the word sovereignty. The easiest part for me was finding a picture because it came right up. And the hardest part for me was finding the antonyms because there was only one on the website that I used. Next time I do my word of the week I would write a bigger sentence. By Harrison

Summer learning journey

Today for the summer learning journey day 1 activity 2 week 4 Romeo and Juliet.

This morning when I woke up it was 8:30am then I had weet-bix for breakfast and then I made my bed. And then I went outside and went on my bike when I was jumping I had an idea to put my wooden jump into a really steep hill but then when I jumped it I hit a rock when I landed and I fell down the hill and cut my wrist open so then my brother Bennett wouldn't jump it. Then we did some gardening in our veggie garden.
 Underneath is the writing from above but it is translated to Shakespearean English.
 
 this m'rning at which hour i did wake up t wast 8:30am then i hadst weet-bix f'r breakfast and then i madeth mine own sleep chamber.  And then i wenteth outside and wenteth on mine own bike at which hour i wast jumping i hadst an idea to putteth mine own wooden jumpeth into a very much steep hill but then at which hour i did jump t i hitteth a rocketh at which hour i did land and i hath fallen down the hill and cutteth mine own wrist ope so then mine own broth'r bennett wouldn't jumpeth t.  Then we didst some gardening in our veggie garden
