rangoli pattern

 Today in Whenua we had to have posted our rangoli patterns otherwise we would have to post it at lunch time above is the rangoli pattern that I designed for our Diwali celebrations work I hope you like my pattern. The easiest part for me was designing the pattern in my maths book because you had an idea on your Chromebook in front of you. and the most difficult part for me was getting all the triangles to fit with the gaps between them. by Harrison

My-Quatrains

 Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall 

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall

all the king's horses and all of his men 

couldn't put Humpty together again.

roses are red 

violets are blue 

My KTM 

flys past you

roses are red 

violets are blue

I shoot hoops 

and dunk on you.

tiger tiger burning bright 

in the forests of the night 

in the light so fearful and frightful

sometimes it can be a delight 

Today for writing we did more poems and today we learnt what a quatrain is and wrote four of them above are my four Quatrains. The easiest part for me was writing them because they were simple to write. And the most difficult part for me was understanding how to write one. By Harrison 

Limericks

 There once was a boy named Harry 

most people called him barry 

and he was very hairy 

so he thought he was a fairy 

and then turned into a blueberry. 

there once was a boy named luke 

he looked like a puke

he tried his luck to hunt ducks

he liked to hit hockey pucks

so he set off a nuke. 

Today we had to write limericks above are my limericks I wrote I hope you like them. The easiest part for me was thinking of someone to write about for my limericks. But the most difficult part for me was writing about the person because it was confusing with a certain amount of syllables. By Harrison 

Paralympic

 Today we did a bit on our paralympic work I started this activity in lockdown but never finished it because I couldn't find half of the information but today I found it all this is about how far it is to get to Tokyo from these places around the world. The easiest part for me was the flight time because it was very easy to find. And the most difficult part for me was finding the travel distance because where ever i looked I couldn't find it but today I found out how to get the travel distance.

Lockdown form

 Today in Whenua we had to fill out a form on how we feel about coming back to school after lockdown above is my google drawing on the form I hope you like it. The easiest part for me was getting an emoji for how i feel because i didn't want to come back to school yet. And the most difficult part for me was saying what I missed about the lockdown.
