The great pacific garbage patch
The great pacific garbage patch
The great pacific garbage patch (GPGP) is between Hawaii and mainland Colifornia the gpgp has been around since the 1950s but it was found in 1993. It’s 3x the size of France.
Each person in the world has probably put 250 pieces of debris in the Gpgp right now!. We only know were 1% of the waste is in the ocean. We don’t know how long plastic will last in the ocean.
About 70% of the ocean litter is plastic. They found a plastic crate from about 1977 imagine how long thats been in there for. That's longer than I’ve been alive. It would weigh up to 80,000 tones thats really heavy. Today we did research on the great pacific garbage patch.

Ka mau te wehi Harrison! I like how you have grouped your information into paragraphs and made sure that they are grouped logically. Next time maybe you could make sure the picture isn't in the middle of the sentence so it doesn't break up your writing.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work!
