Te Tiriti O waitangi / Treaty of waitangi

Today in Taiao we did our Te Tiriti O Waitangi for the (treaty of Waitangi) we had to write what happened before the treaty of Waitangi and what happened after the treaty of Waitangi and what the treaty actually says and Differences in the two treaties. The easiest part for me was writing the differences between the two treaties. And the hardest part for me was writing what the treaty actually says because there was a lot to write. Next time I would try and write more about what happened in the treaty of Waitangi. By Harrison

My family

Today ngahere made a slide show that has your parent's grandparents and your own name all in Maori. I found it challenging to put the little video on the slide. I enjoyed making the video because you had to pronounce the words before you did the video. By Harrison

He aha tenei

WALT ask what is this? in te reo Maori. Today we had to find the Maori word for an object and put it in a sentence. We had to describe it. I enjoyed doing this because we had to think of something and write it in Maori and English. It was tricky to think of an object to do.
