literacy medals

Today for literacy medals we had to watch a video and then write some stuff and take a picture of that stuff around your house. The easiest part for me was taking the pictures but because it was raining the grass was very slippery and I fell over and my phone got all muddy. And it was really fun going outside and taking pictures because I hadn't been outside today. By Harrison

Maths medals

Today for maths medals we had to do some squared numbers so if you had 5 you would times it by its self so it's 5x5. The easiest part for me was doing 4x4 and 6x6 because there really simple. And the most difficult part for me was doing 14 x14 because I didn't know my 14 times tables so what I did was I used 7x7 = 49 and 49x2=98 so if you add ten to 98 but you had to do it twice so 108x 2 =216 and 216-20 because we added 20 so its 196. by Harrison

Blog contract

Today for literacy medals one of the activities is to do a blog contract activity the one that I chose is on pets.

I have two pets their names are chip and Alfie chip is a cat and Alfie is a dog. Chip is my cat because I feed him so I'm his favourite but dad says chip is his favourite. Every night I feed chip when he comes in but in the last three nights he hasnt come in. But mum doesn't 100% know she saw him in the paddock or not.  We got chip on my mum's birthday but we changed it to the day after my mum's birthday so it was on benny's birthday and below are some pictures of chip when we first got him.

My happy place

My happy place is Lake Brunner, Moana. We have a batch thereand every holidays we get to go there. Last christmas we went there for almost six weeks! When we go there we allways bring our bikes so we can go and find places to jump with our freinds from Christchurch one of them is really good he can do no hands while he's in the air. Their names are Jasper ,Jonty, James and Saxon but Jaspers nickname is Jabba so we call him Jabba. One time when me Jabba and Jonty were jumping a driveway with a curb then when I jumped it for the second time my back wheel hit it and i rid down the big grass hill on my front wheel and nearly went over the bars.

When we were there it was daylight savings so we were out jumping to about 9:30 like every night. When we go there Nanny and Grandy stay there with us when they are there we have BBQs and get to go to the pub for tea it's just across the road so we walk. Some times we go jumping off the swing bridge with Payton Quaid and Kolten and one time Kohen and Lakyn came and we jumped off the bridge with them all that was cool. Even some times we go elling and fishing with our friends. And here are some photos of us at Moana.
