Pobble writing

 On Christmas Eve they came…

She had first seen them through the sitting room window, as she peeked out cautiously through a gap in the curtains.

Opening the front door, the little girl took a sharp intake of breath as thousands upon thousands of snowmen stared at her. Many of the small, white figures carried signs, written in different languages.

They must have traveled from all over the world to be here, on this special night of the year to see     her just her, Maybe they are bringing me good luck she thought but why her, she was thinking. Maybe she had been good this year but then she did break the tv, oh but that was an accident and everyone makes mistakes. Then her sister reminded her she also broke the front door and their mum's window in her room so they probably aren't here for her being good. So what are they here for? Maybe they're just here to make her excited for no reason at all like no reason. probably here for someone else or just to celebrate Christmas with them this year.

Today in Whenua We had to write a story about a picture off pobble today's picture was heaps of snowmen standing there with signs in different languages. hope you enjoy. My favourite part was drawing the snowman because it was simple and fun to do. The most difficult part for me was writing the story becasue i didn't know how to carry on from the story starter.
