Summer learning journey

Hi, today in Ngahere we are doing the Summer learning journey activity 2 this activity is about discovering Aotearoa.

My family comes from  Wales (I think my mum's side comes from Wales). and I think my Dad's side is from England.

I speak English and Māori which is really cool. The most important thing for me and my family is to have a really nice family. My culture is Māori.

Well done on this post. I think that it is so interesting to learn about other people’s families. My family comes from England, Ireland, Australia, and Croatia!

Do you still have family living in Wales and England? Some of my family still live in Australia and England. I like to Skype them because I don’t get to see them very often.

Have you ever gone to visit Wales or England?

It is amazing that you can speak English and Māori. I’m trying to improve my Māori skills but I’m definitely still learning.

Keep up the awesome work! I can’t wait to read you next posts.

    Matilda :)
